October 13, 2008 - More evidence for the theorem Salad + Pork = delightful gained today with Spring greens + Carnitas + Thai Peanut salad dressing. Adding to the already proven Spinach + Bacon + Bacon/Balsamic vinaigrette.

Dart-Mondo invades Live Girls Theater TONIGHT at 11pm!
Dart-Mondo, a crazy mix of standup comedy and fast-paced improv in an alt-comedy orgy. Special guests are pulled from the local comedy scene for every show. Tonight’s guest comedians are Dan Carroll and Toby Brown.
Created by Dartanion London, this show uses the improv talents of Mike Murphy, Ian Schempp, John Faga, and Amanda Williams.

This is perhaps the greatest plot to anything anyone has ever devised - this is the potential plot for the upcoming sequel to the in-all-ways-horrendous video game "50 Cent: Bulletproof":
...what's inspired the title is, 50 and G-Unit are putting on a sold-out performance somewhere in a fictional Middle Eastern setting. This is where the 'blood on the sand' comes in. They put on the performance; the people are pleased, but the concert promoter stiffs them and doesn't give 50 and G-Unit their payment.
So, of course, 50 isn't going to leave until he gets paid, so he hassles the concert promoter, [saying] if he doesn't come up with the money now, there will be consequences. And instead, the promoter offers him a very valuable gift - something that's valuable to this particular country - a diamond encrusted skull.
So 50 gets the skull, and as he's about to leave this war-torn country, when they're ambushed and the skull is taken. They escape the ambush, but they're without the skull. So 50's motivated to get what belongs to him. So basically, throughout the game, he's trying to track these people down and find out who they are and why he was ambushed.
I can't wait to never play this. It's like a game inspired by vague recollections of recent art news, upcoming movies, and Army of Two. I can only hope that Fiddy and G-Unit also appropriately celebrate their mass-murder.

Lasagna Cat - since Garfield has been coming up recently, this is a group that recreates Garfield cartoons in live-action movies. The best part is, after the strip, there is always another video. Like video games? Then might I suggest this one.
The Best Fortune Cookie Ever. Beats my favorite fortune of "Someone will give you something." which I have received twice.

After playing Scrabulous for a while, I think that every time we get "cheese" as a suggestion, we should interpret it as "qis".
Also, I just started looking at The Triumph of Bullshit and I'm liking it a lot. It's a tumblelog with a bunch of pictures/videos, some design-related, others just odd. Lovely. I've always liked the idea of the tumblelog a lot more than the regular blog...
